What is your primary product or service?
Waterboyz is a surfing, skateboarding, skimboarding, and stand up paddleboard retail store. At Waterboyz we also design and create our own line of clothing, skateboards, surfboards, sups, skimboards, and lifestyle products. Stop by to visit and shop, while your here check out our indoor skatepark, or just drop the kids off for a couple hours. If your surfboard or paddleboard is in need of repair, we have you covered there also.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I always liked to build and create things as a youth, so at the age of 21 after surfing for about 7 years and deciding that dental school wasn't really my passion in life. I decided to shape myself a surfboard. After completing the project and riding the board, I was hooked. All my closest friends (The Waterboyz Family) wanted boards, so it began. It was kind of like it was born, the business side of Waterboyz, because for the 3-4 years prior Waterboyz was just a very close tight knit group of surfers. After building the first initial batch of boards for all the core waterboyz crew, other local surfers wanted to give the WBZ surfboards a try and so the surfboard production began. The Christmas of 1988 the first surprise batch of WBZ T-shirts were given out to the original waterboyz, by the following spring there was enough demand for more from our surfboard customers that we decided to start making t-shirts also. We still continue to produce our line Waterboyz T-shirts. We use highest quality made in America t-shirts, all our artwork is done by our team riders, and the shirts are printed on site at the Waterboyz World Headquarters.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are full service hands on shop. We have a very knowledgeable staff that know board sports. If you don't see what you had in mind we can most likely get it for you or make it for you. Stop by and see the difference.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at the moment. We have plans of expanding but they are top secret at the moment.

We are on the corner of Heinburg St. and 9th ave., on the south side of the train tracks, just across the street from Duh Furniture Store and Carrabba's Italian Grill, just down the street form the famous McQuire's Irish Pub. Lots to do in this area stop by park and walk. Also just down the street for the beautiful memorial park.

Cash, debit and credit cards.

Sean Fell is the owner and proprietor and runs the daily operations.

Monday - Thursday - 9am to 8pm Friday & Saturday - 9am to 9pm Sunday 10am to 6pm
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That they loved the surfboard that we built for them or that they love how we provide such a cool safe place for their kids to come skate and have a good time. We get these 2 often and it is always a great feeling and those are two things that we strive for consistently.
