How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have had a love for dogs since I was a child. I foster dogs and help with several rescue organizations, including Escambia County Animal Shelter. I started out as a bather for a chain store and trained as a groomer. I realized there was a need for a place that caters to dogs with special needs and joined with a coworker to open a place that provides safe, loving, gentle grooming that is enjoyable to the dogs. Dogs deserve to be pampered and treated with love instead of being stressed out and handled aggressively by impatient, uncaring people.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We cater to the individual needs of the dogs and their owners. We truly love dogs and try to provide education and feedback to the owners, as well as making it a pleasant experience for the dogs. Most of the dogs who are familiar with our facility, are excited and happy when they return, because they associate it with a fun and loving place.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently only have the one location. We dream of expanding. We have 6 employees (counting 2 owners) and we are looking for additional employees. Our business has steadily grown and we have to hire more employees as demands rise for our services.

We are located directly across the street from the Indian Restaurant (in between Jerry's Drive In and New Yorker Deli), on Cervantes St. We are located in East Pensacola Heights near East Hill and Bayou Texar.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (excluding American Express), checks, and cash
Which areas do you service?
All areas of Pensacola, Pace, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Myself, Donna Taft and my business partner, Mary Nash
What are your hours of operation?
Tuesdays through Saturdays beginning at 8:30 am (We open at 7:30 on Thursdays and Fridays to accomodate early drop offs).
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Telling a friend or neighbor about their experience with us. We rely on verbal referrals. Most people prefer to go to a groomer that someone else they know trusts. This has been our best form of advertisement.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Proverbs 12:10 "Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.”
